Every design has a narrative. Ours are inspired by decency, hope and love.
Decent People is built on the belief that we all deserve to live our best lives, secure in the knowledge that our rights and freedoms are protected rather than constantly at risk. We believe that we cannot focus on the work of true greatness until the foundation of basic human decency is undisputedly enshrined in law.
Our original and often LGBTQ+ themed designs are inspired by the struggles that we all face everyday. The only way to fight against injustice is to live out loud and refuse to be silent, and if you can serve a stunning look in the process all the better!
We hope that you’ll enjoy wearing our designs or sharing them as stickers or other swag. Every purchase has a portion of the revenue donated to support LGBTQ+ youth.
Our Mission
To encourage a culture of positivity and openness. Using art and design to promote the idea that decency includes love, equality, human & civil rights, and anti-authoritarian values.
We envision an America where mutual respect, empathy for your neighbors and countrymen, and basic human decency are the founding principals of our social contract and where diversity is celebrated rather than shunned.
Our Values
Compassion
expressed through Community, Empathy, and Love.
Integrity
expressed through Stewardship and Courage.
Equity
expressed through Diversity and Liberty for all.
Who We Are
We are a couple of dads who believe in a simple truth: Greatness comes from love.
We support diversity and equity for all people, regardless of status. In today’s political climate, we feel a responsibility to stand strong and encourage others to do the same—particularly for the transgender and migrant communities who are currently under fire.
Our philosophy is rooted in the "entire village" of the human experience. We strive to live by two guiding principles, the embodiment of our values, that, we believe, are central to being Decent People:
First: Seek to do no harm.
Second: Stand against the bullies who do.
By choosing Decent People, you aren’t just buying a product; you’re joining a community that chooses kindness as a radical act of resistance. Join us on social media to continue the conversation.
